PRIVACY POLICY
Private by design.
Effective July 16, 2026
PhraseMap is designed to work without an account, advertising identifier, analytics SDK, or remote audio processing service.
Data collection
PhraseMap does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information. The app does not contain third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Your audio and choreography
Audio files you import, analysis results, project metadata, and choreography notes remain in PhraseMap's local app storage on your device. PhraseMap does not upload these materials to us or to a third party.
Apple services
Automatic music analysis uses Apple's Music Understanding framework on supported devices. Apple states that this analysis runs on-device. Standard App Store distribution, purchase, crash, and diagnostic information may be processed by Apple according to Apple's own privacy policy and your device settings.
This website
The PhraseMap website does not add analytics, advertising, account, or application cookies. Its hosting and network providers may process basic request data and use strictly necessary security measures to deliver and protect the site under their own privacy terms.
Deleting your data
Delete a project inside PhraseMap to remove its imported audio and project data. Deleting the app removes all locally stored PhraseMap data from that device.
Children
PhraseMap does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else because it does not operate a data collection service.
Changes
If PhraseMap later introduces optional cloud or collaboration features, this policy will be updated before those features collect or transmit information.
